If you purchased the optional transparency unit (B12B819221), follow these steps instead.

Install software
Note: Do not connect
the USB cable yet.

Turn on scanner
13000XL

Remove all packing materials.

Use a coin to turn the
transportation lock to the
Unlock position.

Double-click the file you downloaded to install the
software. Follow the on-screen instructions to set up
the connection.
