Using Memory Cards

Setting and Removing a Memory Card

P-4000 provides you with the CF Card slot and SD
Card slot.
This section describes how to set memory cards and
copy data from them.
Caution:

To use a memory card correctly, read manuals
provided with the memory card.
Never remove a memory card while the Access
lamp flashes. Doing so may cause data in the
card or HDD to be lost or damaged.
Do not put stickers on memory cards. The sticker
may peel off, preventing the card from being
ejected and damaging P-4000.
Avoid using or storing the card in direct
sunlight, or in places that are extremely hot,
humid, or dusty.

Available types of memory cards

The following memory cards are available.
CF (CompactFlash) memory card (Type1/Type2
and 3.3 V, including Micro Drive)
SD memory card
MultiMedia Card
Note:
A commercially available CF adapter is needed to use other
memory cards. Contact our customer support for details.
