General Text Entry Rules

Press a number key repeatedly to cycle through its
characters. See "Character Chart" on page 42.
Press a number
key as many
times as
necessary
to enter the
desired
character at
flashing cursor
location.
Press and hold
a number key
to cycle
between text
entry modes.
• If you do not press a key for two seconds, the
character in the block cursor is accepted, and the
cursor moves to the next position.
Msg
CANCEL BROWSE
Change
letter in
block cursor
to uppercase
or lowercase.
Move flashing
cursor to the
left or right in
text message.
