PREPARATION OF A NEW MACHINE

BATTERY SET UP

The machine is equipped with a 36 Volt battery.
Depending on the country the machine can be
supplied according to one of the three following
options:
1 - The battery is installed and filled with
electrolyte
2 - The battery is installed and empty (without
electrolyte)
3 - The battery is not supplied.
Lift the seat of the machine - forward - to get
access to the battery compartment and check
which option is applied.
If the machine is equipped with the battery open
one of the battery cell caps to see if the battery is
filled or not with electrolyte.
1 - If the battery is filled with electrolyte:
1a . Chech the electrolyte level and fill up with
distilled water if necessary (see the battery
user manual).
1b. Make a recharge (see the Maintenance
paragraph and the battery user manual).
Warning: before starting the battery recharge
the battery connector must be disconnected
from the machine.
When the recharge has been completed the
battery can be reconnected to the machine.
