These four rocker switches are used to select a
baud rate which corresponds with your com
puter's data transmission rate. The baud rate
is selected by setting switches
to the appropriate binary bit positions defined
below. When set to "external," the baud rate
is generated by an external clock connec
tion at pin 17 of the RS-232-C/CCITT V.24
connector.
