Rejecting Spam

Setting spam filters to reject spam is recommended.
The recommended settings help you to set spam filters
easily.

Recommended Settings

Spam filter is set to reject spoofing mail, auto-forwarding
mail and to receive mail sent from a cell phone, PHS, or PC.
When the standby screen is displayed, press L.
Use a to select Spam Filter and then press
c (Select).
Use j to select オススメの設定をする
(Settings) and then press c (Select).
Use j to select 登録 (Registration) and then
press c (Select).
You can also prevent spam by changing your e-mail
address. For details on changing your e-mail address,
see page 14.

Using C-mail

C-mail is a service that uses phone numbers as addresses
to exchange messages between cell phones that support
C-mail. A C-mail message can contain up to 70 double-byte
(or 140 single-byte) characters.
The C-mail send charge applies when sending C-mail.
C-mail Safety Block
C-mail safety block is a function that allows you to reject
C-mails that include URLs (http://△△△, https://△△△) or
phone numbers in the C-mail message text.
C-mail safety block is valid by default. Cancel the setting if
you want to receive C-mails that include URLs and phone
numbers in the message text.
