Load your document

Make sure your machine and computer are
connected with the supplied USB Cable.

Open the Top Cover 1, and then unfold the
Document Guides 2.

Pull out the Output Tray 1, and then unfold the
Document Stopper 2.

IMPORTANT
Always open the top cover and output tray
completely. Failure to do so may cause a risk of
damage to the document.

Fan the pages well.

Place your document, face down, top edge first
in the document feeder between the Document
Guides until you feel it gently touch the inside
of the machine. Adjust the Guides 1 to fit the
width of your document.
