HINTS AND TIPS

Small articles and fabrics which are easily
damaged must be put in a wash bag.
Items which do not absorb water readily must
be submerged in water by hand.
Garments of long staple fibers subject to
pilling must be rolled over before being loaded
into the machine.
Before putting in the fabrics, spread them out
and shake them thoroughly. Where the
garments come with long strings and zip
fasteners, tie a knot in the strings and close
the zips before putting them in.
Remove loose dirt and sand from fabrics
before washing. Fabrics stained with
chemicals must not be loaded directly into the
machine.
Heavily soiled items should be treated with
detergent in advance. This will make it easier
to remove the dirt.
