3. Setup Mode
To enter Setup mode, while holding both the CH1 FADER START and CH2 FADER START buttons pressed, press the POWER button.
Setup Mode : ON
POWER OFF
CH1 FADER START
During Setup mode, the CH1 FADER START, C.F.1 FADER START, CH-2 FADER START, and C.F.2 FADER START indications light up.
(If the initial setting for the noncontact fader has already been made, only the CH-1 FADER START and C.F.1 FADER START indications
light.)

4. Initial Setting for the Noncontact Fader
How to set up
1 Move the crossfader lever to its leftmost position.
2 While holding the CH1 FADER START button pressed, move the crossfader lever to its rightmost position.
Move the lever at a constant speed from the leftmost to the rightmost position, taking 1.5 seconds or more.
3 Release the CH1 FADER START button.
• When the initial setting is completed, the CH-1 FADER START and C.F.1 FADER START indications light up.
• If the initial setting fails, the CH-1 FADER START, C.F.1 FADER START, CH-2 FADER START, or C.F.2 FADER START indication
flashes, depending on the type of error.

CH-1 FADER START
Start error: At the start of making the initial setting, the crossfader lever was not set to its leftmost position.
C.F.1 FADER START
Speed error: The crossfader lever was moved too quickly.
CH-2 FADER START
End error: The crossfader lever was not moved to its rightmost position.
C.F.2 FADER START
Code error: The gray codes for the crossfader could not be read.
If an error is generated, repeat from Step 1 of "How to set up."
• To quit this mode, turn off the power.
5. Checking the Version
• You can check the version of the system control microcomputer by counting how many times the CH1 REVERSE and CH2 REVERSE
indications flash when Setup mode is activated.
How to check the version
1 The number of times the flashing CH1 REVERSE indication is lit represents the second digit of the version.
2 The number of times the flashing CH2 REVERSE indication is lit represents the first digit of the version.
Example:
1 The CH1 REVERSE flashes and is lit three times. → 30
2 The CH2 REVERSE flashes and is lit four times. → 4
3 The version is 34 (30 + 4).
To quit this mode, turn off the power.
