CASSETTE TAPE SELECTION
The
quali
ty
and
condition of
the
cassette
tapes
used
will
directly affect
t
he
performance
of
this
unit
.

Use only well-known
brands
of
tape_
•
The use
of
C-90 (90 minutes
)
and C-120 ( 120 mi nutes)
cassettes
is
not recommended.
The extreme thi
nness of
th
e
tape
may
result in
breakage
or
other
problems.
•
PROTECTION
AGAINST CASSETTE
TAPE
ERASURE
Al
I
cassette
tapes
are provided with
tabs,
wh
ich
allow
tape erasure
to be
performed.
If
these
tabs
are removed,
no
tape
erasure
is
possible because
the
RECORD (•)
bu
tton
cannot
be depressed
.
To protect the "A"
side of
casse
tte
tape, break off the
"A" side tab with
a
screwdriver.
Follow the same
procedure
for the "B" side.

The
tape
can
be
fcfecorded or
erased
by
covering
the
tab holes
with
pla
stic
tape.

Check
to ensure there
are
no
loose layers of
tape visible through the
casse tte
center

Tighten
these loose layers with
a pcmci
l
or
ball·point pen before
inserti
ng
the cassette
into·the
unit.
