he Audio/Video (Monitor) Output jacks are great for recording with a VCR or used to connect an external audio system for better sound reproduction. For Audio System Connection: Connect one end of the R(ight) and L(eft) AUDIO (Monitor Out) jacks on the TV to the R and L audio input jacks on your amplifier or sound system.

When programmed by the viewer, a TV with AutoLock™ can respond to the content advisories and block program content that may be found objection- able (such as offensive language, violence, sexual situations, etc.).
utoLock allows parents to block out or “censor” any channels they think chil- dren should not watch. A channel blocked by the AutoLock control cannot be viewed until a correct access code is used to unlock the channel for viewing. First, let’s set your AutoLock access code.

EMOTE hen using the TV remote control with a VCR, first make certain it is set to con- trol your VCR (by the REMOTE CODE or SEARCH method). Slide the TV/VCR/ACC Switch to the VCR position. Point the top of the remote toward the front of the VCR (remote sensor win- dow) when pressing the buttons.
WARNING Concerning Stationary Images on the TV Screen: Do not leave stationary or letterbox images on screen for extended periods of time. This can cause uneven picture-tube aging. Normal use of the TV should involve the showing of pictures that contain constantly moving and changing images that fill the screen.
