    COMPONENTS Freezer compartment fan Fan operation: Control module ► The freezer compartment fan always runs whenever the compressor is running. Exceptions: ► The freezer compartment fan starts with a switch-on delay of 60 s after the compressor starts. ► The freezer compartment fan does not run if one of the two doors is open.

    Changing the heater 6.5.2 Attaching an additional thermal link As a spare part the evaporator heater has a separate thermal link. 6.5.1 Evaporator heater This thermal link is attached in the upper, right area of the evaporator. The air conductor in the freezer compartment must be removed before the evaporator heater can be changed.

    Changing the thermal link Thermal links were temporarily delivered with a shorter connection cable. In this case the thermal link is attached in the upper, left area of the evaporator. The thermal link is attached to the evaporator. The thermal link can be changed separately. The thermal link is a fusible cut-out and must be replaced when it has tripped.
