9. Replacing Lamp Holder Set (Backlight)

9.1. Precautions to Replacing Lamp Holder Set

- During the procedures, all power supplies not only to the module but also to the inverter shall be
switched off.
- Replacing work shall be started after the inverter and backlights become sufficiently cool.
- Special care shall be taken to the display area in order not to damage its surface
- The shall not be touched with bare hands to protect its surface from stains.
- It is recommended to use clean soft gloves and hold a cable holder of the backlight assembly
during the replacing work in order to protect not only the display area of the module and surface
of backlight but also a serviceman himself.
- Backlight assembly shall be pulled off slowly and straight without twisting or rotating. When it is
inserted, the same care shall be taken.
Set the monitor on cushion panel facing down.
- Loosen screws
Remove support plate and the front cover
- Loosen screws and connectors.
- Remove front cover
