Before you navigate with your PND, you need to
perform the following initial setup steps:
1 Charge PND battery.
2 Mount PND in your car.
3 Configure initial PND device settings.
4 Find satellite signal to obtain your location.
For details on performing these steps, see the Quick
Start Guide included in the box:

Upon powering on your PND, you always see the map
view screen.
For details on using the map view screen, see page 2
and 3.
To directly access the map view screen from all other
menu screens, press the Map button in lower-left
corner.
