The logic for the selector switch is shown below.
Three groupings of automation inputs and outputs are defined: physical (contacts), shared,
and virtual. Within these three groupings there are two types: analog and digital.
There are 128 virtual inputs that can be individually programmed to respond to input
signals from the front panel interface and communications protocols. All virtual input
operands are defaulted to off (logic 0) unless the appropriate input signal is received.
Automation virtual inputs can be paired as control outputs. See the DNP Number of Paired
Controls setting in the Communications chapter for information.
Select the Settings > Automation > Automation Inputs/Outputs > Virtual Inputs menu
item to access the virtual input configuration settings.
