1.5 Using the Stylus
The stylus is used to operate the VisionPlate. The stylus has three basic actions, which are
described in this section.
Single tap: Single tapping involves touching the screen softly with the stylus_This action is the
same as a single click of the left button of a mouse, and is used to select an item.
Double tap: Double tapping involves touching the screen softly twice in rapid succession with the
stylus. This action is the same as a double-click of the left button of a mouse and is used to open
an item.
Drag/Drag and Drop: Dragging involves touching the screen with the stylus, and moving the
stylus on the screen surface while the stylus is still touching the screen. Drag and Drop involves
selecting an object by touching the screen with the stylus and then lifting the stylus after moving
the object to another location.
Caution: The stylus supplied with your VisionPlate is designed for your LCD screen. Using any
other pointing device could damage your screen.
