2. DISCRI coil adjustment
Setting:
SSG
Carrier frequency: 49.83 MHz
Modulation: 1 kHz, ± 0 kHz deviation
Output level: 66 dB µ EMF

Procedure:
1) Connect a digital voltmeter to TP (DISCRI) and TP (GND).
2) Set the output level of SSG to 66 dBµ EMF. (1 kHz, ± 0 kHz
dev.)
3) Adjust L1 so that the voltage is 2.0 ± 0.05 V.
3. TEL out level adjustment
Setting:
SSG
Carrier frequency: 49.83 MHz
Modulation: 1 kHz, ± 2 kHz deviation
Output level: 66 dB µ EFM
noise meter

Procedure:
1) Connect a noise meter to J3.
2) Set the output deviation of SSG to ± 2 kHz deviation.
3) Adjust RT1 so that the voltage is –6.5 ± 0.5 dBm.
4. Sensitivity adjustment/check
Setting:

Carrier frequency: 49.16 MHz
Modulation: 1 kHz, ± 3 kHz deviation
Output level: 20 dB µ EMF

Procedure:
1) Connect a SINAD meter and level meter to J3.
2) Set the output level of SSG to 20 dBµ EMF.
3) Change the frequency of SSG to 49.16 MHz.

4) Press the button. (Change the channel to ch18.)
5) Adjust L5 to get maximun reading on SINAD meter.
6) Change the output level of SSG to 5 dBµ EMF.
7) Adjust L5 to get maximun reading on level meter.
8) Check the level meter more than 12 dB.
[HOLD]
9) Press the button. (Change the channel to ch1.)
10) Change the frequency of SSG to 49.67 MHz.
11) Check the level meter more than 12 dB.
[HOLD]
12) Press the button. (Change the channel to ch10.)
13) Change the frequency of SSG to 49.97 MHz.
14) Check the level meter more than 12 dB.
[HOLD]
15) Press the button. (Change the channel to ch11.)
16) Change the frequency of SSG to 48.76 MHz.
17) Check the level meter more than 12 dB. (Continue to check
sensitivity all channels.)
5. RSSI on/off level check
Setting:
SSG
Carrier frequency: 49.83 MHz
Modulation: off, ± 0 kHz deviation
Output level: 33 dB µ EMF
Procedure:
1) Change the deviation of SSG to OFF. (± 0 kHz dev.)
2) Change the output level of SSG to 33 dBµ EMF.
[INTERCOM]
3) Press the button twice.
4) Check the beep sound ring continuously.
5) Change the output level of SSG to 7 dBµ EMF.
6) Check the beep sound does not ring.

Carrier frequency: 49.83 MHz
Modulation: 200 Hz, ± 4 kHz deviation
Output level: 66 dB µ EFM
Procedure:
[INTERCOM]
1) Press the button twive.
2) Change the frequency of SSG to 49.83 MHz.
3) Change the deviation of SSG to 200 Hz ± 4 kHz deviation.
4) Check the beep sound ring continuously.
