Vehicle Lubrication

Primary contacts ( multi-fingered clusters) and secondary con­
trol contacts ( strips and fingers) are to be wiped clean and a
film of Siemens contact l u bricant applied, 1 5- 1 7 1 -370-002
Sliding su rfaces such as shutte r cam , rail plunger, etc. may be
wi ped clean and treated with " M olycote Penelube", 1 5- 1 7 1 -
270-002.
Nylon sl1d ing and rotational bearings req u i re no lubricat 1on .
Pivots thru out the interlocking l i n kages should be treated with
a light oil (SAE # 1 0) which includes rust i n h i bitors .
