Preparing for Communications
This chapter explains the preparations required for commu-
nications, such as the installation of the unit or the setting of
communication.
Installation
1. Disconnect the modular cable of your telephone set from
the jack of the telephone line.

2. Connect a telephone set, telephone line, and AC adapter
(Figure 8).
Connect the disconnected modular cable to the TEL
terminal.
Connect the LINE terminal and the jack of a telephone
line using the supplied modular cable.
Connect the AC adapter.
