Safety instructions for installation

To avoid damage to the appliance, it
should not be installed until the
upper cabinet and exhaust hood
have already been mounted.

The countertop veneers must be
affixed with heat-resistant glue (100°C),
so that they do not become deformed
or detached.
The backsplash must be heat-resistant
as well.

This electric barbecue grill is not to
be used in mobile installations such as
ships.

The CS 1312 (barbecue) and
CS 1322 (barbecue) must not be
installed directly next to the CS 1421
(salamander). It is essential to maintain
a distance of at least 150 mm between
an electric barbecue and a salamander
grill.

It is essential to ensure that the
network power cable will not be
subjected to any mechanical strain
after installation, e.g., while the water is
draining.

Also be sure that the power cord will
not come into contact with any hot
spots on the appliance after installation.
Otherwise, the cord could suffer heat
damage.

Make sure to carefully observe the
clearance distances listed on the
following pages.

Never use joint sealant unless it is
explicitly called for in the instructions.
The seal underneath the appliance
provides sufficient seal with the counter
top.
