SIM Card

Before using your wireless phone you must register with a wireless network service provider to receive a SIM (Subscriber Identity
Module). The SIM card contains a computer chip that stores and tracks your phone number, the services included in your
subscription, and your SIM phonebook information. It is stored in a recess in the battery compartment.
The phone can not be used (except for emergency calls) until a valid SIM is inserted. It is possible to transfer your SIM to another
compatible phone and access your network services.
If the SIM is already inserted, see Powering On the Phone, page 26.
