    CAMERA BAG CONTENTS: AG-HMC150P PANASONIC CAMERA AC POWER SUPPLY CORDS/ DC CORD BATTERY CHARGER/ POWER ADAPTER LENS HOOD CAP LENS CLOTH WHITE BALANCE SHEET GETTING STARTED: After putting the camera onto the tripod (stabilizer), attach either a battery or power adapter.
  • Page 3 Put the SD Chip into the bay/slot at the rear of the camera The SD Chip bay/slot is located at the rear of the camera. Open, by pushing the door to the left, then gently pulling down on the door. Push your card into the slot, then close the door, in the reverse order that you opened the door.

    BASIC CAMERA SETUP: Enter the Menus, and setup the camera First, setup the format that you want to record your production at. Use the Menu Button to call up the menus. Use the toggle stick to navigate through the menus. Up, Down - Move through the Main menus Left, Right - Move into sub menus Push toggle stick in to select a function...
  • Page 5 Format the SD Chip. Formatting the SD Chip must be done everytime, it allows the camera to write the necessary files to the chip. It also makes sure that there is room on the card for the production. Formatting erases all content on the SD Chip, be sure to use a card that you are not storing information on.

    FOCUS SETTING: Check the focus setting. Automatic (A) will focus on the closest object in the center of the field of view. Manual (M) will allow the user to focus the camera using the outer ring when the ring selection switch is set to FOCUS. In this picture, the Outer ring on the camera would control the IRIS.

    IRIS CONTROL: Pushing the Iris button will switch between Manual Iris and Auto Iris. Auto Iris will set the camera to automatically adjust the iris depending upon the light available within the field of view. Manual Iris will allow you to adjust the iris. When in Manual Iris mode, the wheel to the left of the button will control the iris.
  • Page 8 Sound Selecting sound inputs Two sources of audio can be recorded to the camera simultaneously. Audio signals is controlled by two switches behind the LCD monitor and two switches on the front of the camera. Setting the audio level Use the Audio dials on the side of the camera to set the level of sound coming into each channel.
