Preface

This manual contains service instructions for the HP 52-inch ID5220N lamp driven rear projection television.
The maintenance procedures in this manual are intended to help isolate defective parts and replace them in the
field or in a Service Depot Environment. The procedures provide instructions for disassembly and
troubleshooting to the board level. There is no intent to service this product at the component level at the
authorized servicer's location. Circuit boards will be returned to a central location for component-level repair.
This manual is copyrighted and all rights are reserved. This product may not, in whole or in part, be copied,

This manual includes basic specifications, descriptions of major system assemblies and components, and a
