Insert a CF memory card with update data into the slot.

Set the POWER switch of GY-DV5000 or KA-DV5000 to ON.

Press and hold the STATUS button for at least 1 second to display the TOP MENU

screen.

Set the cursor to NETWORK PACK CONFIG and press the SHUTTER dial while

holding the STOP button of the camera.

• The NETWORK PACK CONFIG menu screen added with the UPDATE item

appears.

Turn the SHUTTER dial, set the cursor to UPDATE and press the SHUTTER dial.

• The UPDATE menu screen appears.

Set the cursor to SOFTWARE UPDATE and press the SHUTTER dial.

• CANCEL display will flash and changes will be allowed.

Using the SHUTTER dial, set the display to EXECUTE and press the SHUTTER

dial.

• Update will begin and "UPDATE.." will flash on the screen during the process.

When update is completed, the normal screen appears.

Caution:

During update, do not turn the power off or perform menu or camera operations.

Malfunction may occur as a result.

Setting

Set EXECUTE and press the SHUTTER dial to start update.

Press the SHUTTER dial to return to the NETWORK PAC CONFIG menu screen.
