Software Installation
Windows95/98
The ASUS 740DVD software for Windows 95 and Windows 98 is included on the
CD installation disc.
Turn on your computer and switch into Windows 95/98.
Insert the installation disc into your CD-ROM drive. The ASUS 740DVD Install

WARNING! The ASUS 740DVD integrates Contents Scramble System (CSS) capa-
bility, allowing end-users to regionalize their DVD-ROM drive or player up to five
times. Once the drive has been regionalized for the fifth time, its region code is set and
available only for the region for which the drive has been last set. See opposite page for
a list of the CSS Regions.
When the setup program is finished installing the necessary software, the Setup
Complete dialog box appears. Click Finish to complete the setup.
