Current Setting (Standard)
The adjustable current
setting determines the
nominal long time current
setting with a ± 1 0% band
width . With a 1 . 1 setting the
breaker will carry indefinitely
without tripping the rating
plug rating . Changing the
setting changes the norminal
current rating for the breaker.
Long-Tim e Delay (Standard)
This long-time delay adjust­
ment varies the time it will
take the breaker to trip under
sustained overload condi­
tions. It provides the function
of withstanding momentary
overloads such as motor
starting, welding, or other
overcurrent conditions with­
out interrupting the service.
Long-Time Light (Standard)
Pickup
The long-time pickup light
provides visual indication
that the breaker is experi-
encing an overload condi-
tion. Indication is provided
by a light-emitting diode
(LED) which is only activated
prior to trip-out and during
long-time time-out. Saves
test and system start up time.
S hort-Time (Optional)
Pickup
This short-time picKup
adjustment controls the level
of high current the breaker
can carry for short periods of
time without tripping. Per-
mits downstream breakers
to clear short circuit faults
without tripping out the
upstream protective device.
