Vanity dial

Vanity dialing allows you to substitute letters with
numbers. The letters are used in conjunction with
numbers to place a call. An example is 1-800-XXXXXXX.
Alphabetic letters are available after the first number is
entered.
1. Dial the numeric characters that begin the contact
number.
2. Dial the alphabetic characters of the contact number.
To dial the following alphabetic characters, press the
chr key, then the alphabetic key:
R, T, Y, U, F, G, H, J, V, B, N, M.
When you dial a number in vanity dialing mode, both
numbers and alphabetic characters will be displayed, as
you dial them. In contacts and call log, numbers will
appear numeric only, even they were created using the
vanity dialing feature.
To dial the emergency number in the vanity dialing mode,
press the end key, and dial the emergency number.
