To adjust the microphone echo level
You can adjust the microphone echo level
during singing.
The default setting is "OFF. "

Press OPTIONS, and then turn
the search dial clockwise or
counterclockwise to select "MIC
ECHO. "

Press ENTER.

Turn the search dial clockwise or
counterclockwise to select "LEVEL 1, "
"LEVEL 2, " "LEVEL 3" or "OFF, " and then
press ENTER. To exit the OPTIONS
menu, press OPTIONS.
Note
If howling occurs:
 move the microphone away from the
speakers.
 change the direction of the microphone.
 lower the microphone volume (MIC
LEVEL) or echo level.
 turn MASTER VOLUME
counterclockwise to reduce the master
volume.

Using the Timers

The system offers three timer functions.
You cannot activate the Play Timer or
Rec Timer with the Sleep Timer at the
same time. If you use either with the
Sleep Timer, the Sleep Timer has priority.
Use buttons on the remote to use the
timer functions and make sure to turn off
the DJ mode before setting the timers.
Sleep Timer:
You can fall asleep to music. This
function works even if the clock is not
set.
Press SLEEP repeatedly.
If you select "SLEEP AUTO, " the system
automatically turns off after the current
disc or USB device stops or in 100
minutes.
Do not select "SLEEP AUTO" during
transfer or erase operation.
Play Timer:
You can wake up to music from disc,
tuner or optional USB device at a preset
time.
Rec Timer:
You can record a preset radio station at a
specified time.
Make sure you have set the clock.
