Overheating protection
Each cooking zone is equipped with
overheating protection (internal
temperature limiter). This switches off
the heating element automatically
before the ceramic surface overheats.
As soon as the cooking zone
temperature has cooled sufficiently,
heating is switched on again
automatically.
The overheating protection may be
activated under the following
circumstances:
– A pan unsuitable for use with an
induction hob is being used or no
pan is on the cooking zone.
– The pan being used is empty.
– The base of a pan not sitting evenly
on the cooking zone.
– The pan is not conducting heat
properly.
You can tell that the overheating
protection has activated because the
heating element switches on and off
even when the highest power level is
selected.
