Logging handsets onto a telephone system
Open the logon window with the second telephone.
An "Optiset E" Hicom telephone is used here by way of
example to demonstrate the procedure:
e.g. ... Enter the code for activating the code

e.g. ... Enter the handset code no. (PIN E1),

e.g. ... Confirm the displayed handset

The display may differ slightly depending on the telephone used as Optiset de-
vices support 24 characters and handsets 16 characters.
Take your handset and log it on to the system
(see page 23).
Note:
The logon window is automatically closed if the handset
is not logged on as described above within 10 minutes. In
this case, you must repeat the procedure.
