Memory and DIMM slots (1) Memory module for PRIMEQUEST is composed of 2 x DIMMs. (2) At least 2 DIMMs have to be installed in one CPU (4 DIMMs in one SB) in Normal mode and Spare mode, 4 DIMMs have to be installed in one CPU (8 DIMMs in one SB) in Mirror mode.

Memory Mode is set for each partition in the configuration menu of SystemArchitect.

When the partitions are different, there is no restriction on mixing of DIMMs with different capacity in a system.
