CHARACTER TRAIL Settings – 110
Applying the character trail effect – F1 (CHARACTER TRAIL)
Turning the end of the trail into stardust – F5 (PIXEL)
This provides the effect of pulling out a "tail" from a peripheral
part of the image.
With the second set of soft key indications shown in the
NONLINEAR menu, press F5 (CHARACTER TRAIL) to display
the CHARACTER TRAIL menu.

The following are some of the operations carried out in this menu.
Use the following procedure.

Press F1 (CHARACTER TRAIL).

Adjust the parameters for the following items.

Use the following procedure.

Press F5 (PIXEL), turning it on.

Adjust the "PIXEL" parameters.
• Left knob ("Dens"): degree of disappearance of the image
(0 to 100%)
• Center knob ("Rndm"): behavior of tail and amount of
stardust (0 to 100%)

effect (–8 to +8)
Center ("Expn"): degree of stretching (0 to
100%)
Right ("Angl"): direction of rotation of
effect region (–8 to +8)
Right ("Angl"): direction of tail-pulling
