Care and Cleaning

This product contains no user serviceable parts. Refer service to qualified service
personnel.
1. Always unplug the unit before cleaning.
2. never immerse the unit in water or other liquid.
3. Wash the lid, condensation catcher, steaming basket, serving scoop, and rice
measuring cup in warm, soapy water or place in the top rack of the dishwasher.
Note: The cooking bowl has an aluminum outer surface, therefore, it is best to wash
it by hand. If washed in the dishwasher, the outer aluminum surface may become
cloudy, but will not affect cooking.
4. do not use abrasive cleaners or metal scouring pads—they may scratch the
nonstick surface and could result in poor contact with the heating plate.
5. Clean the unit by wiping the inside and outside surfaces with a damp soapy cloth
and dry thoroughly.
6. If water accidentally gets into the button area or onto the heating plate, allow to
dry thoroughly before using the rice cooker.
