Outdoor Unit Tightening of Flare Connections 1. Align the centers of the flare connections and fully tighten the flare nuts with your fingers. Valve at liquid side Loosened 2. The ground may consist of electrical wire or metal conduit when installed in accordance with existing electrical codes.

Outdoor Unit EVACUATE AND DEHYDRATE THE SYSTEM CAUTION UNIT DAMAGE HAZARD Failure to follow this caution may result in equipment damage or improper operation. Never use the system compressor as a vacuum pump. Refrigerant tubes and indoor heat exchanger should be evacuated using the recommended deep vacuum method of 500 microns.
