Launch the configuration menu.

Select Configuration Wizard

Select Add Configuration (default) and click on Next.
Select Manual Configuration (default) and click on Next.

After you creating Disk Groups, click on Next.

Add both Drive Group0 and Drive Group1 to Span and click on Next.

The RAID 10 will be available in RAID Level. Select the RAID Level as RAID 50 and click
on Next.
Click on Accept and Yes to save the configuration.

Click on Yes to initialize the new logical drives. You will see all the logical drives
listed.
Click on Home to go back to the configuration menu.

In the Logic View field, you can see the Spanned Drive Group: 0, RAID 50 listed.

Now you can reboot the system and install the Operating System. Select Exit, click
on Yes and press Ctrl+Alt+Del to reboot the system.
14. I saw below logs in the RAID utility of MegaRAID.
Controller ID: 0
ANSWER: The warning message means BBU (i.e. battery) is disabled and Write Policy is changed
from Write Back to Write Through. That could be due to BBU charging status is not completed,
or BBU failure.
15. How do I check the settings of coercion with MegaRAID?
ANSWER: Please enter RAID BIOS utility (press CTRL-H during POST) and select Adapter
Properties -> Coercion Mode.
16. Does MegaRAID support HDD location function?
ANSWER: Yes. You can identify the physical HDD or the virtual drive through the HDD location
function of RAID BIOS utility during POST or RAID utility in Windows/Linux.
When you execute the function, the status of HDD activity indicator will be amber blinking.
NOTE. The LEDs on drives that are global or dedicated hotspares do not blink.
17. How do I identify the HDD with the HDD location function?
ANSWER: You can identify the physical HDD or the virtual drive through the RAID BIOS utility
during POST or RAID utility in Windows/Linux.
RAID BIOS utility:
a. Please press CTRL-H to start the RAID BIOS utility during POST
b. In the Home page, click on the physical or logic HDD that you want to locate. Then,
