Important Safeguard

When using electrical appliance. Basic safety precautions should always be followed including the following:
1.
This equipment has been designed and manufactured to meet international safety standards but, like any electrical equipment,
care must be taken if you are to obtain the best results and safety is to be assured.
2.
Do read the operating instructions before you attempt to use the equipment.
3.
Do ensure that all electrical connections (including the mains plug, extension leads and inter-connections between the pieces of
equipment) are properly made and in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions. Switch off and
before making or changing connections.
4.
Do consult your dealer if you are ever in doubt about the installation, operation or safety of your equipment.
5.
Don't remove any fixed cover as this may expose dangerous voltages.
6.
Don't allow electrical equipment to be exposed to dripping or splashing, or objects filled with liquids, such as vases, to be placed
on the equipment.
7.
Don't continue to operate the equipment if you are in any doubt about it working normally, or if it is damaged in any way - switch
off, withdraw the mains plug and consult your dealer.
8.
Never guess or take chances with electrical equipment of any kind - it is better to be safe than sorry!'
9.
Make sure that your outlet voltage corresponds to the voltage stated on the rating label of the toaster.
10. Do not touch hot surface. Temperature of accessible surfaces may be high when the appliance is operating. Use handles or
knobs only.
11. To protect against electrical shock, do not immerse cord, plug, or any part of the toaster in water or other liquid.
12. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
13. Unplug unit from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cooling before putting on or taking off parts.
14. Allow the unit to cool completely before cleaning or storing.
15. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or in abnormal state. If its main cord is damaged, it must be replaced
by the manufacturer,the nearest service agent or a qualified person.
16. Do not let the cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch hot surface.
17. Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
18. Do not use the appliance for other than its intended use.
19. Oversize food, metal foil packages or utensils must not be inserted in the toaster as they may cause fire or electric shock.
20. Bread may burn, therefore toasters must not be used near or below curtains and other combustible materials, they must be
watched.
21. The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the appliance manufacturer may cause injuries.
