to close the opening relay for the time you keep the button
pressed. Use the same procedures for the lower button to
control the closing relay.
A transmitter programmed in three-button mode behaves the
same as a transmitter in two-button mode, with one exception:
the closing relay is controlled by the upper right button, the
opening relay is controlled by the upper left button, and the
lower button (buttons) are used for opening the relays.
STOP
Press the transmitter button to open the closed output relay.
This function will be automatically assigned to the lower but-
ton (buttons) when programming functions in three-button
mode and will be activated by pressing the two buttons – the
button for opening and the button for closing – simultaneously.
POSITION
The relay will close for a time period sufficient for the roller to
reach a position corresponding to the set value of 0-100 % (if
the time constants of the roller are set correctly).
SCENE
Press (brief press) the button programmed for this function to
move the roller to the preset position or press (long press) the
button to store the current position in memory. Up to 16
scenes can be stored.
FIRST USE
- Follow fig. 1 to connect the power part of the receiver
(3299U-A00007) and attach it downwards in an installation
box using connection clamps.
- Insert the control unit with the frame (not included) into the
power part as shown in fig. 2.
- Connect the supply voltage. The connected motor of the
roller or jalousie can now be controlled by pressing the re-
ceiver keypad.
- Prepare the selected transmitter.
Note:
Only qualified person can connect (disconnect) the receiver to
(from) the mains and appliance.
Due to the risk of reducing the detection zone, it is not rec-
ommended to locate the receiver near sources of electromag-
netic interference. A strong electromagnetic field may impair
or disable correct functioning of the receiver!
The detection zone depends on the material in which the re-
ceiver is built. Conductive materials and items near the re-
ceiver decrease its operating range.
A) How to program the transmitter into the receiver
memory – basic functions
JAL
- Press the lower part of the keypad at least ten times (10×)
– indicated by closing of the opening output relay.
- Press the appropriate buttons of the transmitter twice. If a
pair of transmitter buttons ON1+OFF1 (ON2+OFF2) is
used, the buttons will be programmed in two-button control
mode. If all buttons of a three-button or four-button transmit-
ter are used, the buttons will be programmed in three-
button mode.
- Correctness of programming will be indicated by opening of
the output relay.
OPEN/CLOSE
- Press the lower part of the keypad at least ten times (10×)
– indicated by closing of the opening output relay.
- Wait 2 s and press again (brief press) the lower part of the
keypad once – indicated by opening of the opening relay
and closing of the closing output relay.
- Press the appropriate button(s) of the transmitter twice. If
you use the ON1 (ON2) button, it will be programmed for
the OPEN function. If you use the OFF1 (OFF2) button, it
will be programmed for the CLOSE function. If you use a
pair of transmitter buttons ON1+OFF1 (ON2+OFF2), the
ON1 (ON2) button will be programmed for the OPEN func-
tion and, at the same time, the OFF1 (OFF2) button will be
programmed for the CLOSE function.
- Correctness of programming will be indicated by opening of
the output relay.
RETR
- Press the upper part of the keypad at least ten times (10×)
– indicated by closing of the closing output relay.
- Press the appropriate button(s) of the transmitter twice.
- Correctness of programming will be indicated by opening of
the output relay.
Note:
In case the memory for codes is full, the receiver will go from
writing mode to code deleting mode automatically after 2 s.
B) How to delete one transmitter programmed with
any function except for the RETR function
- Press the lower part of the keypad at least ten times (10×)

– indicated by closing of the opening output relay.
- Wait 2 s and press (long press >10 s) the lower part of the
keypad – indicated by opening of the opening relay and
closing of the closing output relay.
- Release the button to delete all codes. Output relay will
open.
Note:
If no code is programmed or no move to another state is per-
formed within 30 seconds of programming or deleting the de-
vice, the receiver automatically returns to the operating mode.
REMOTE MANAGEMENT
®
For devices in the RF 868
series, manual programming of
transmitter codes, functions and parameters can be substitut-
ed by remote management using the SW RF Assistant tool
and the 3299-09908 transmitter. You can even use remote
management to set other functions and parameters that can-
not be accessed otherwise:
- Set the cross-travel time.
- Disable (enable) manual programming and delete transmit-
ters.
- Lock selected transmitters against deletion from the receiv-
er memory.
- Setting up to 3 devices with the RETR function for a single
transmitter.
- Disable (enable) search mode.
By default, the receiver is set to the so-called state of time-
limited search. This means that when a receiver is being con-
nected using remote management for the first time, it is possi-
ble to connect to it only within the first five minutes of connect-
ing it to the supply voltage or within five minutes of accessing
the programming mode. It is possible to fully forbid searching
using remote management.
RESET TO DEFAULTS
If you need to cancel all function and parameter settings, you
can return to the manufacturer's default settings.
- Press the upper part of the keypad at least 10 times (10×)
within 5 minutes of connecting the supply voltage to the re-
ceiver – indicated by closing of the closing output relay.
- Wait 2 s and press (long press >10 s) the upper part of the
keypad – indicated by opening of the closing relay and clos-
ing of the opening output relay.
- Release the button to restore the factory settings. Output
relay will open.
Note:
When resetting to defaults, all programmed codes will be de-
leted from the receiver memory as well!!!
