TV Setup
The TV Setup enables a mode to make
changes to the TV settings (i.e. channel
installations, brightnes, and others).
Before activate this action, store changed
settings.
Channel Setup
The Channel Setup function depends on the
state of the PBS Mode:
Channel Configuration
[Channel setup]
Layer 1
Layer 2
Channel setup <Action>
Activate the channel setup menu item by
pressing OK, or ► and the installed channels
will be displayed in a Channel Grid.
Press RC6 GUEST on the Professional Setup
RC to put this into TV Setup mode.
Press OPTIONS on the Professional Setup RC
to option the options display.
The following options can be selected:
• Rename
• Reorder
• Show hidden channels
• Hide channel
• Blank channels
• MyChoice setup
• ThemeTV setup
[Rename]
Rename the current selected channel.
Layer 3
Press OK or ►
[Reorder]
Change the order of the current channel to be
presented in the Chanel Grid:
• Navigate to the channel to be adjusted
• Press OK
• Move the current channel to the
preferred location using the arrow keys
• Press OK to accept
[Insert]: Channel will be inserted in the
Channel Grid order.
[Swap]: Both selected channels will
swap their location in the Channel Grid
order.
• Make next changes, or press Options to
exit.
[Show hidden channels]
Presents the hidden channels in the Channel
Grid as blanks.
These blank channels can NOT be selected by
Channel number or P+ / P-.
If activated new a second level for Options is
available:
Exit
Cancel operation
Unhide All
Make all channels visual again
Blank Channels The Blank channels function
disables the display of video on
the TV, but does not affect the
audio output. This function can
be used for audio applications
(example: music-only channels,
and so on) which do not
necessarily require the display
of video.
Mark the channels to be
blanked.
[Hide channels]
Hide the current channel on the Channel
Grid. This channel can NOT be selected by
Channel number or P+ / P-.
