4-2 Precautions for Main Board ass'y Replacement and
Repair
- Confirm the connection between cables and connecters.
- Never drop the ferrite core.
- Never damage electronic devices by electricity.
- Wait approximately 1 minute after unplugging the AC adapter, and then
disassemble Main Board ass'y. This prevents from damaging Main Board ass'y by
discharging storage electricity in the condenser.
- Never touch the Timing Slit Strip Film and the Timing Slit Disk Film.
- Never contaminate the inside/outside the unit by ink.
- Never scratch the main frame.CAUTIONS for the red screw
The paper feed motor installation the red screw is removable only when
replacing the Paper Feed Motor Unit. Never loosen the red screw for other
cases.

Never loosen the carriage rail the red screw other than for replacing the
carriage.
Check if the FINE Cartridge is not in friction with a board as the paper gap
(carriage rail-platen) check after replacing the carriage.
Adjust the rail installation position if friction is detected.
