Settings
This menu allows you to customise your SMS via the
following options:
SMS center
Select your default SMS centre. If
not available on your SIM card,
you must enter your SMS centre
number.
Validity period
Select the length of time your
messages will be stored in the SMS
centre. This is useful when the
recipient is not connected to the
network (and thus cannot receive
your message immediately).

Delivery report
When On, this option will notify
you via SMS whether your recipient
has received your SMS. This feature
is subscription dependent.
Storage
This option allows you to select the
location
preferred location to store your
messages (i.e. in SIM or in Phone).

Voice mail
This menu allows you to view voice mail server
number and listen to voice mail. When you receive
voice mail, your provider will send a message to your
phone. The phone allows you to enter voice mail
server number. Network service provider supplies the
number.
To set voice server number you can select
the number.
To listen to voice mail you can select Answer.
If you press and hold key 1 in idle mode, you can
access your voice mail server quickly.
Memory status
Displays the memory status of the messages saved in
the SIM card and the phone.

Cell Broadcast Message

Cell broadcast messages are public messages
broadcasted to a group of mobile users. The messages
are broadcasted on coded channels. Generally, one
broadcast channel can transmit one type of message.
Please contact your network operator for a list of
channel numbers and their respective broadcast
information.
