which filters out limestone and other residues
when the water is being poured out.
• Use softened or filtered water to prevent lime
build-up.

4.1 Cleaning and care

1. Turn the appliance off and disconnect it from
wall socket.
2. Let the appliance cool down completely.
3. Use a damp soft cloth and a little mild cleanser
to clean the exterior of the appliance.
4. Water filter (2) can be removed for cleaning
purposes. To do this:
– Press the release downwards and take out
the filter.

4.2 Descaling the kettle

Descaling extends the life of your kettle. Descaling
period depends on the water hardness of your
area.
1. Fill the heater with water up to the maximum
level and boil.
2. After the heater is switched off, unplug the
appliance.
3. Add 2 cups of white vinegar or 1 tablespoon of
citric acid into the boiled water.
