Closet Ventilation Requirements
Closets with doors must have both an upper and
lower vent to prevent heat and moisture build-up in
the closet.
One example shown uses vent grilles in the door.
• One upper vent opening with a minimum
opening of 310 cm
must be installed no lower

than 185 cm above the floor.
• One lower vent opening with a minimum opening
of 155 cm
must be installed no more than 30.48

cm above the floor.
Electrical Connection
• Install where an outlet is easily accessible.
• Use an individual, grounded outlet: 220–240
Volts, 50 Hz, AC, 8 Amps minimum.
WARNING
• Do not plug in multiple appliances in the same
outlet with the appliance. Overloading house
wiring can cause a fire hazard.
• To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not
install the appliance in a wet or damp area.
Ambient Temperature
• Temperature must be between 10°C and 35°C.
• If the ambient temperature is too low or high,
performance may be affected.
• Do not install in direct sunlight or where the
temperature may fall below 0°C.

Unpacking the appliance

Removing carton and shipping
materials
Unpack the appliance from carton then remove any
tapes and temporary labels from the appliance.
• Do not remove any warning labels, the model
and serial number label, or the technical sheet
label that is located under the front of the
appliance.

Closet door vent requirements
WARNING
• The appliance should be unpacked and moved
by two or more people. Failure to do so can
result in serious injury by tipping the appliance.
CAUTION
• Do not use sharp instruments, rubbing alcohol,
flammable fluids, or abrasive cleaners to
remove tape or glue. These products can
damage the surface of the appliance.
NOTE
• Tape or glue residue can also be easily removed
by rubbing a small amount of liquid dish soap
over the adhesive with your fingers. Wipe with
warm water and dry.
