3.4.3 Installing a Signal Cable



Single Battery String
Step 1 Connect a signal cable between the BIB and the MUE05A.

When connecting cables, ensure that dry contacts OL, STA, DRV, and 0V on the UPS dry
contact card correspond to control signal ports OL, STA, DRV, and GND on the BCB box
respectively.
If the cable length is insufficient, prepare the signal cable onsite. To ensure that the cable
sequence is correct, you are advised to attach labels to the cable. Ensure that the signal
cable is no longer than 50 m.
