Important Safety Instructions Read all instructions before using the dryer. NEVER dry items cleaned, washed, soaked in or spotted with wax, paint, gasoline or flammable fluids in the dryer. The fumes can create a FIRE HAZARD EXPLOSION. ALWAYS hand launder and air dry fabrics contain- ing these materials. -

Starting your dryer Be sure to refer to the chart below and the Dryer Guide for proper sorting, loading and control setting information before starting it. - Page 5 1. Select a cycle by turning the Cycle Control Knob either way. Stop when the indicator on the knob’s outer ring points to the cycle and setting you want. See pages 6-8 for further cycle information. 2. Press a temperature selection which matches the type of fabric being dried.

Operating Instructions Continued The automatic cycles The automatic cycles allow you to select the degree of dryness you prefer for the clothes being dried. The electronic DRY-MISER@ control is an electronic sensor that determines the amount of moisture in the clothes. The dryer automatically shuts off when the proper dryness is reached. -

TIMED DRYING Usina FLUFF AIR Fire Hazard Do not dry plastic or rubber items with heat. Use FLUFF AIR setting, or line dry. Failure to do so could result in fire or damaged items. The dryer does not heat when the Cycle Control Knob is set in FLUFF AIR. -

(Two exam- ples are heavy cottons, such as jeans, which you do not want to become stiff, or cotton clothes which are easier to press when damp.) 1. -

Additional Dryer Features Gentle Heat system The dryer automatically reduces the heat settings in HEAVY HIGH and PERM’T PRESS, During the last few minutes of each of these temperature settings, the dryer temperature gradu- ally reduces to a lower heat setting. This helps prevent overdrying. -
