Do not throw the appliance away with the normal household
waste at the end of its life, but hand it in at an official collection
point for recycling. By doing this you will help to preserve the
environment (fig. 11).
Fruitcake
Only use the strip beaters to prepare this recipe. If your mixer comes
with wire beaters, you can order strip beaters from your Philips dealer.
Ingredients:
- 150g dried dates, stoned and halved
- 420g dried prunes, halved
- 50g almonds
- 50g walnuts
- 50g raisins
- 50g sultanas
- 460g wholegrain rye flour
- 100g wheat flour
- 300g honey
- a pinch of salt
- 16g baking powder
- 500g buttermilk
Cut the dried dates, dried prunes, almonds and walnuts in small pieces.

Put the dried dates, dried prunes, almonds, walnuts, raisins,

sultanas,100g wheat flour and 260g wholegrain rye flour in a bowl.
Pour the buttermilk in the bowl and insert the strip beaters into the
mixer.
