SWITCHES
TO
RECORD
A
TAPE
WITH
"BETA
hi-fi"
SOUND
1. Set the "Beta hi-fi" switch
to
"ON" position.
2. Set the audio "INPUT" switch
to
"TV",
"LINE" or "AUDIO ONLY"
as
illustrated
below.
Note: These switch positions
shwld
stay same for
playback of tape.

3. Set the "OUTPUT" switches

"RIL" and
"Beta hi-fi" positions respective1 y.

For "LINE" Recording

Notes: 1. When the "Beta hi-fi switch is in "ON"
position, the m n d is &rdd

"Beta hi-fi" tracks
and the conven-
tional horizontal monaural traek.

When a video camera is
connected to
the "VIDEO IN" jack, it defeats the
signal from
the
tuner.
For "AUD10" recording

Note:
When the sound noise will occur in play
back,
adjust the tracking control of the
VCR
to
reduce the noise.
3. For
playback of the "Beta hi-fi"
sound
the
"OUTPUT"
switches should be set
in the
"WL" and
"Beta hi-fi" positions.
4. When the
"Bate
hi-fi" switch
is in
"OFF"
position,
set the "OUTPUT"
switch to the "RIL" position.
