Battery handling instructions
New batteries or batteries that haven't been used for a long
time may cause camera operation time to decrease
temporarily. Use batteries regularly to return to normal
power storage capacity.
Discharge batteries completely before recharging them. If the
batteries are not fully discharged before being recharged,
your camera's operating time may decrease temporarily.
Never leave batteries in your camera or charger should you
not plan to use them for a long time. For storage instructions,
see the previous section.
Rechargeable batteries wear out with repeated use. As their
capacity to hold charge decreases, your camera's operating
time becomes shorter. When the operating time becomes too
short, you need to replace the batteries.
If the batteries are charged in a hot environment, or if they
are charged repeatedly without being discharged, they will
wear out more quickly.
Instructions for disposal
Dispose of the batteries in accordance with local laws and
regulations.
When you dispose of the batteries, always discharge them
first, and apply adhesive tape the + ends of the batteries.
If you plan to dispose of the batteries in The Netherlands, do
not dispose them with ordinary refuse. Instead, dispose of
them as small chemical waste in accordance with local laws,
and the following Dutch Government Gazette 45, KCA
