Check if the connected MFD is compatible with the Epson Open Platform. Note: When Epson Open Platform is already setup for the MFD, you can check from Web Config and MFD panel. See the following confirmation method. “Checking the Epson Open Platform version” on page 12 If the device is compatible, you will see the following label on the carton box and on the MFD near the serial number.
Product key This is the product key to activate Epson Open Platform. To acquire this product key, you need the serial numbers of the respective MFDs. You can find the serial number on the product's Guarantee Form, or on the label on the rear or side of the product.
