This device
automatically
trips
the
fuse breaker
if
one
of the fuses opens
.
When this
happens
,
the
breaker
is locked open until the
re set
button

be reclosed

until the opened
fuse is
replaced

The
tripping rod (

) should be
set so
that
any
solenoid will
cause
the
breaker
to
trip
before the
solenoid
armature
closes against its
magnet
.
This
can
be
checked
by
moving
each
armature
towards
its
closed
position and noting that tripping
takes
place
at
least

inch before travel
ends
.
The

is
a
solid

state

direct

acting

self

powered trip
device system
.
