Die Heizung wird abgeschaltet, wenn
S das Wasser kocht;
S die Kanne vom Sockel genommen wird;
S das Gerät eingeschaltet wird, aber kein Wasser
in der Kanne ist.
Nach dem Einschalten Deckel niemals öffnen –
Verbrühungsgefahr!
Reinigen und Warten
Netz-Stecker ziehen. Kanne außen und Sockel nur
feucht abwischen, niemals in Wasser tauchen
oder in Geschirrspüler geben!
Bei leichter Verschmutzung der Kanne etwas Essig

einfüllen, / Stunde stehen lassen und mit einer

Geschirrbürste reinigen.
Bei starker Verschmutzung den Essig aufkochen
lassen, wobei natürlich ein scharfer Geruch
entsteht. Man kann die Kanne auch mit einem
Spülmittel reinigen.
Nach dem Reinigen mit klarem Wasser ausspülen.
Das Gerät ist wartungsfrei.
Entkalken
Kanne regelmäßig entkalken, spätestens wenn
S die Zeit bis zum Kochen länger wird;
S das Gerät lauter wird;
S Ablagerungen zu sehen sind.
Die Kanne kann mit Essig entkalkt werden (siehe
Abschnitt „Reinigen und Warten") oder mit einem
Entkalker. Entkalker nach Hersteller-Angaben
dosieren und die Kanne füllen. Beim eigentlichen
Entkalken halten Sie sich an folgende Anweisungen:
S Lösung 5 Minuten stehen lassen.
S Gerät einschalten, nach 1 Minute ausschalten
und 10 Minuten stehen lassen. Mindestens 3 mal
wiederholen, eventuell öfter, je nach Grad der
Verkalkung. Lösung keinesfalls aufkochen!
Das Gerät könnte beschädigt werden.
S Kanne, Filter und Deckel mit klarem Wasser
abspülen.

– If the mains cable is damaged, it should only be
replaced by our Customer Service Department
in order to avoid all risk of injury.
– When the appliance has reached the end of its
working life, it should be clearly destroyed and
disposed of properly.
– The mains cable must not touch the jug which
becomes hot during use.
– Do not switch the appliance on when the jug
is empty.
Stainless steel parts will become discoloured
and may be damaged.
– Do not fill the empty jug while it is still hot.
The sudden change in temperature could cause
damage to the appliance.
– Use the jug only with a base that is marked on
the underside with: " Type WK 10.
